Senior Engineer - Manufacturing Test Developer (NPI)

Your responsibilities will involve supporting manufacturing and test setups globally, maintaining high reliability and quality standards, and collaborating with various teams to introduce new products into production. Key Responsibilities: - Work with geographically dispersed teams, including Electronics Hardware Engineers, Software Engineers, and Engineering Technicians. - Support changes and upgrades to Enphase production test hardware and software. - Coordinate with NPI, Manufacturing, and Quality teams at contract manufacturing sites. - Develop and document test system processes and maintenance routines, such as calibration, replacement schedule, and repeatability test. - Collaborate with the Mfg. SW Development Team to design fault-tolerant test systems. - Maintain, debug, and support production facilities where test systems are deployed. - Evaluate Marketing and Engineering Requirement Documents to develop robust Test Requirements for reliability and cost reduction. - Drive closed-loop response to factory and field failures by identifying test gaps and opportunities for improvement. Qualifications Required: - B.E/M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent educational background. - 3+ years of experience in Test software development using Python, LabVIEW, C, or C++. - Expertise with power electronics. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Proficient in using JIRA for project management and Bitbucket for version control. - Database experience is a plus (SQL or similar). - Knowledge of SPC/DOE. - Experience supporting Yield Improvement projects. - Experience in monitoring and maintaining Test Systems in a High-Volume Manufacturing Environment. - Familiarity with Failure Analysis Techniques.
