About STAMOD:

Job Summary:

Progressive Die Design

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop
progressive dies and press tools
using NX / CATIA / SolidWorks / AutoCAD.
Review customer
RFQs, part drawings, and 3D models
to prepare
tooling cost estimates and proposals
.
Conduct
feasibility studies
for manufacturability and suggest design or process improvements.
Supervise and coordinate
tool manufacturing, machining, assembly, and tryouts
.
Monitor tool progress, ensure adherence to
quality, cost, and delivery
timelines.
Support
tool validation, dimensional inspection, and troubleshooting
during trials.
Collaborate with
vendors, toolmakers, and internal teams
for smooth project execution.
Participate in
customer technical discussions, design reviews, and approvals
.
Support continuous improvement and best practices in tool design and manufacturing.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Diploma/Degree in
Mechanical or Tool Engineering
.
10+ years
of experience in
Progressive Die Design and Tool & Die Manufacturing
.
In-depth knowledge of
press tools, sheet metal stamping, and die tryout processes
.
Hands-on expertise in
NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD
.
Strong analytical skills for
cost estimation and process optimization
.
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management abilities.
Experience working with
automotive or engineering OEMs / Tier 1 suppliers
preferred.
