Senior Engineer - Machine Shop

You should have a strong expertise in machine shop programming, tooling, and process optimization. Your responsibilities will include developing and optimizing CNC programs for machining operations, analyzing and improving existing tooling and machining processes to enhance productivity and reduce cycle time, and leading troubleshooting and root cause analysis of machining-related issues. You will collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to ensure manufacturability and quality of components. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and have at least 10 years of experience in machine shop operations, programming, and tooling. You will be required to review and interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications for machining feasibility, select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, and fixtures for new and existing components, and implement continuous improvement initiatives in tooling and processes using lean manufacturing techniques. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating process documentation, SOPs, and machining standards, as well as providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and machinists. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits such as cell phone reimbursement, health insurance, paid sick time, and Provident Fund. The schedule for this role will be a day shift or morning shift, with performance bonus and yearly bonus opportunities. Experience in machine shop operations for at least 9 years is preferred.
