As a Senior Engineer - Interconnect (Wiring Harness) in Bengaluru, your role involves proposing solutions for interconnections, wiring harness, component packing, and printed circuit board. You are responsible for designing and manufacturing wiring harnesses, testing and inspecting them, and ensuring the contents of the product Data package meet specified requirements. Your expertise in WHMA-620 or IPC-620 standards will be crucial for defining wiring harness design and quality requirements. Additionally, familiarity with military and aerospace standards such as SAE-AS50881 is essential for wiring harness design. Key Responsibilities: - Propose solutions for interconnections, wiring harness, component packing, and printed circuit board - Design and meet manufacturing requirements for wiring harness/cable harness - Test and inspect wiring harnesses according to specified requirements - Ensure the product Data package contents align with defined standards - Utilize knowledge of WHMA-620 or IPC-620 standards for wiring harness design and quality requirements - Apply expertise in military and aerospace standards like SAE-AS50881 for wiring harness design - Utilize VeSyS2.0 wiring harness design tool and AutoCAD - Identify necessary engineering skills for successful Bid/Project/Product delivery Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in CAD Tools: VESYS 2020.1, AutoCAD premium, MS-VISIO 2016 - Familiarity with CATIA V5, ATIM & MENTOR TOOLS for harness design (desired) - Knowledge of Design Standards: WHMA-620, IPC-610, SAE AS50881, MIL-Standards for wiring harness - Strong background in Wiring Harness Design Standards & components knowledge of electrical and wiring harness Your expertise in wiring harness design, manufacturing, testing, and adherence to industry standards will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of bids, projects, and products.,
