Lead the design, engineering, and implementation of automotive glass systems (GSM).
Generate concepts, prepare detailed packaging, and develop layout designs.
Ensure manufacturability and serviceability through effective design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and design-for-assembly (DFA) practices.
Execute cost-saving initiatives and support VAVE activities.
Upgrade and maintain benchmark databases for product development.
Conduct DFMEA and ensure adherence to engineering and safety standards.
Collaborate with suppliers to meet technical specifications and support validation activities.
Perform basic engineering calculations related to design feasibility and performance.
Support cross-functional teams and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Bachelors degree in Engineering (B.E).
7+ years of experience in GSM design and automotive engineering.
Solid understanding of material selection, DFMEA, and value engineering.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
