Senior Engineer / Engineer IT Network

As a Senior Engineer or Engineer in IT Network with 3-5 years of industry-related experience, you will be responsible for designing and implementing functional network infrastructure including LAN, WLAN, and WAN. Your role will involve configuring and installing software, servers, routers, and other network devices. Monitoring network performance, integrity, and resolving issues related to troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure will be crucial aspects of your responsibilities. In this role, you will also focus on automating tasks, monitoring their effectiveness, and mentoring team members on technical issues whenever required. Creating, overseeing, and testing security measures such as access authentication and disaster recovery will be an essential part of your duties. Communication with users as needed, maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, and suggesting improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability are key responsibilities you will undertake. To excel in this position, you should have a solid background in network administration and architecture, an in-depth understanding of communication protocols (specifically TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF), familiarity with access control models and network security, and knowledge of coding languages for scripting such as Python and Perl. Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools like SolarWinds network tools, a strong understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS), sharp troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently, as well as exceptional organizational and mentoring skills are required for this role. This is a full-time, permanent position located at the Head Office in Kondhanpur, Pune.
