Senior Engineer - Electronics

As an R&D Engineer at Valeo's GTSC Electronics division, you will have a significant competency in your domain, contributing to the technical knowledge of the organization by capitalizing best practices and ensuring standard excellence. Your responsibilities will include: - Contributing to transversal initiatives - Supporting the team leader in tailoring standard processes based on project needs - Designing complex features and/or supporting/providing solutions to operational entities and controlling technical choices made - Supporting during the competition Phase (RFQ) in choosing technical solutions for mature products - Developing Discipline requirements by gathering stakeholders" requirements, consolidating them, and identifying any conflicting requirements - Performing technical reviews on project activities - Presenting work progress continuously through active participation in project meetings - Developing a features list and organizing them into work packages delivery phases to ensure maximum value delivered to the customer - Supporting Design Leaders & Project Management in Discipline development planning - Checking the performance level of the technical solutions provided You will also be expected to provide innovative technology solutions by contributing to system and customer requirements analysis for new products and high-level design architecture definition for new products. Additionally, you will coach standard technical reviewers in your domain.
