As a Senior Engineer in the Data - IT squad at Deutsche Bank located in Pune, India, you will play a crucial role in designing solutions aligned with the bank's architecture principles and strategic goals. Your primary responsibility will involve collaborating with cloud engineers to develop cutting-edge data ingestion and processing solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) capabilities. - Understand and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the current systems landscape in Private Bank/Wealth Management, including end-to-end business process flows. - Document business and technology requirements for change projects, collaborating with technical resources to provide architectural and functional expertise. - Engage with technology stakeholders to comprehend interfacing application requirements, prioritize tasks, and obtain necessary business approvals. - Manage test activities, including scoping, defining test strategies, overseeing defect resolution, leading status meetings, meeting business expectations, and securing approvals. - Conduct detailed technology analyses to identify weaknesses and propose enhancements. - Undertake code design, development, unit testing, UAT support, production release activities, post-implementation checks, SDLC documentation, etc. - Minimum 10 years of experience in: - Collaborating across domains and regions for efficient technology sharing and reuse. - GCP development and implementation. - Scala, PySpark, Python, Unix, and Terraform. - Proficiency in DevOps configuration management tools like GitHub Actions Pipelines. - Knowledge of various GCP components such as Pyspark, dataproc, Airflow, PubSub, BigQuery, CloudSQL, App Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Composer. - Familiarity with SDLC tooling including JIRA, Confluence, Artifactory, Git/BitBucket. - Strong stakeholder influencing and communication skills. - Mandatory proficiency in both written and verbal English.
