Run and interpret multi-physics simulations including fluid flow, electrochemical reaction, thermal distribution, gas diffusion, and compression.
Build models to optimize:

Flow field geometry and channel velocity profiles
Stack temperature distribution
Gas crossover and pressure drops
Compression stress and seal integrity

Translate simulation outputs into actionable design feedback for hardware teams.
Develop customized simulation workflows for repeatable analysis and comparative studies.
Collaborate with test teams to validate models and calibrate simulations against real-world stack data.

Experience & Skills:

Strong experience with tools such as COMSOL Multiphysics, ANSYS Fluent, CFD++, Abaqus, or OpenFOAM.
Ability to model:

Gas-liquid two-phase flow
Electrochemical kinetics and ion transport
Heat generation and dissipation
Structural deformation of elastomeric and rigid components

Comfort working with parametric studies and optimization scripts (e.g., MATLAB, Python, or in-tool scripting).
Familiarity with mechanical CAD tools for importing/exporting geometry (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Creo).
Experience simulating real-world engineering problems and validating against test data.
Previous work in fuel cell, battery, electrolyzer, drone, or EV simulation preferred.

Preferred (Not mandatory):

Exposure to DOE (Design of Experiments) methodologies and surrogate modeling.
Experience in AI/ML integration for design optimization.
Knowledge of materials modeling for polymers, ionomers, or composites.
