Gather inputs and technical data to generate feasible design concepts.
Analyze and compare multiple design proposals to finalize subsystem designs based on performance, manufacturability, and cost.
Develop parametric models for complex BIW parts ensuring consistency and accuracy.
Perform basic engineering calculations related to durability, strength, and packaging.
Apply knowledge of material selection, BIW materials, and manufacturing processes such as stamping, welding, and joining.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure design deliverables are met on time.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality guidelines, and best practices.
Experience in designing BIW structures and mechanisms.
Solid understanding of materials, material selection, manufacturing technologies, and GD&T.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
