Job Description

Lead the delivery of various projects, utilizing expertise from the wider team for technical engineering requirements.
Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are met through effective communication and project management.
Design and develop infrastructure, including EHV/MV/LV systems, using knowledge of relevant electrical codes and standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results, focusing on teamwork and collaboration.
Develop and maintain detailed design documentation, including design basis reports and case studies.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers, contributing to their development and growth.

Job Requirements

Graduate or post-graduate degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 7 years of relevant experience in Dry utility design and engineering.
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including power distribution networks and telecommunications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD 2D, ETAP, Dialux, and Amtech.
Ability to perform engineering calculations, including voltage drop and cable sizing.
Experience in preparing Basis of design and design reports for projects.
Member of IET and working towards Chartered Engineer accreditation.
Desirable: Meeting East standards.
Experience working on ME projects.
Contribute to maintaining existing and developing new client relationships.
Knowledge of Relevant Electrical Codes and Standards.
Flexibility to travel to client sites when required.
Capability to work under tight deadlines while achieving objectives with the ability to deal with competing priorities and manage time appropriately.
To provide support and advice to members the team, this may also include line management responsibilities.
Strong English Communication Skills needed to coordinate with clients and other internal stakeholders.
Be a part of the team which is working at different geographical locations and coordinate for the needs of the project.
Project Management, Resource Management, Design Coordination experience.
Client and Authority coordination experience.
