Senior Embedded Hardware Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of embedded hardware systems for IoT / telematics / EV applications.
• Schematic design, component selection, and PCB layout (multi-layer).
• Design with microcontrollers, sensors, power management circuits, wireless modules (BLE/LTE/GNSS), and interface protocols (CAN, RS485, SPI, I2C, UART).
• Perform design simulations, validation, and debugging using standard lab tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC standards and product certifications.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and production teams to ensure smooth design handoff.
• Conduct DFM/DFT reviews and support NPI and production ramp-up.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in embedded hardware design and development.
• Hands-on experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, KiCad).
• Strong knowledge of power supply design, signal integrity, and mixed-signal circuits.
• Experience working with certification and testing labs for CE/RED/EMI-EMC.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and component sourcing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

• Experience in IoT product design with cellular and BLE connectivity.
• Knowledge of automotive-grade hardware design.
• Exposure to low-power design techniques.
• Familiarity with hardware security and OTA upgradability.
