Job Description

Job Role & Responsibilities:

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, control panels, and equipment at pathology centers/labs.
Ensure smooth functioning of laboratory electrical instruments, backup systems (UPS, DG sets), and other medical equipment.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns.
Diagnose electrical issues, troubleshoot problems, and repair faults promptly.
Maintain records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Coordinate with facility/technical team for new setups, wiring, and electrical support.
Provide immediate assistance during power failures or technical faults to avoid disruption in lab operations.

Key Skills & Requirements:

ITI/Diploma in Electrical or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 23 years of experience as an electrician (healthcare/laboratory experience preferred).
Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, and safety protocols.
Ability to read technical drawings and electrical diagrams.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work in shifts and attend urgent calls when required.
