In this journey of digital transformation and AI age, you will be part of an engaged team in an international and multicultural environment within a department developing native Mobile APPS on iOS and Android platform while integrating with embedded and IoT systems on MS Azure cloud environment.

About The Role:

As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer in the Smart Home Products Mobile APPS Team at Kohler ITC, India, youll play a critical role in defining and implementing MS Azure Cloud technologies and processes for securely building, integrating, deploying, managing and supporting CI/CD pipelines. You will lead the technical aspects of the team with respect to DevSecOps culture, driving the adoption and optimization of cloud technologies across all teams within the Electrical Electronics function of Kohler ITC, India.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team, guiding the development and implementation of secure MS Azure cloud solutions for their Smart Home Products - built using state of art technologies(Mobile APP, IoT, MS Azure IoTHub, Firmware,..). Integration, Deployment and Release the Mobile APP on Play Store and APP Store applying secure CI/CD practices.
• Security Integration: Ensure that security is integrated into every aspect of the MS Azure Cloud platform development lifecycle, adhering to DevSecOps principles and best practices
• Story Definition: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define DevSecOps related user stories and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and priorities.
• Backlog Ownership: Take ownership of the DevSecOps backlog, prioritizing features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business value and security considerations.
• Roadmap Realization: Assist in the realization of the roadmap for platform capabilities, which is defined by the Architect and Product Owner (PO). Ensure the roadmap aligns with strategic objectives and technological advancements.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with a team of cloud technology specialists, mobile app developers, system architect and stakeholders to ensure the highest level of performance, security, and reliability for Smart Home Products at Kohler.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for continual process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance the efficiency, security, and quality of Smart Home Products connected over Wi-Fi, BLE and other protocols via Mobile APPs. Development and execution of cloud cost optimization strategies, involving the integration of APIs and strategic enhancements.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

To excel in this role, were looking for candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

Educational Background: Bachelors engineering degree in Computer Science, Information Security (or equivalent experience).

Technical Expertise:

• Prior experience in applying DevSecOps culture and practice in embedded software and/or Smart Home Products built using IoT is highly beneficial.
• Extensive experience in DevSecOps practices using MS Azure Cloud, including CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and infrastructure as code(IaC).
• Hands-on experience with Checkmarx integration as part of security scanning
• Hands-on experience with Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with integration of Test Automation framework, Static Code Analysis, code quality and code review as part of CI/CD and automation
• In-depth knowledge and solid experience with cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure services (including Azure IoT Hub).
• In-depth knowledge and skills using Alexa Voice Skills and Google Voice
• Strong understanding in container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Hands on experience with Native Mobile APP deployment and distribution on Google Play/iOS APP store, as part of CI/CD and automation
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or equivalent.
• Knowledge of integrating Sentry, Dynatrace or similar tools to identify bottlenecks or performance issues with Mobile APPs.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
