Senior DevOps Engineer

Role Overview: You will be joining Teradata as a Senior DevOps Engineer in the DevOps and Cloud Automation team within Product Engineering. Your primary focus will be on ensuring secure and optimized product deployment, managing cloud marketplace listings, optimizing cloud spend, and developing tooling to enable self-service capabilities. Key Responsibilities: - Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for deploying, testing, and maintaining products across multiple cloud platforms - Performing release validation and documenting release updates - Monitoring and optimizing cloud spend by identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing tools to track budgets and usage trends - Supporting internal and external customers with new features and cloud deployments of Teradata software - Managing cloud marketplace releases and publishing Teradata DIY offerings on Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud marketplaces - Leveraging GitHub Copilot and other AI agent frameworks to accelerate development, improve productivity, enhance cost governance, and resolve customer issues with minimal manual effort Qualifications Required: - Graduate or Postgraduate in Computer Science or equivalent stream - 5+ years of hands-on work experience in cloud deployment and test automation using DevOps pipelines with Python and Terraform - Experience working in a product development organization - Strong skills in cloud resource management and automation for cost optimization - Knowledge of AI agent development to accelerate delivery and automate routine tasks - Ability to meet aggressive timelines and support time-critical customer issues - Creative problem-solving skills to simplify day-to-day functions using technology - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and identify opportunities to drive business impact Additional Company Details: Teradata prioritizes a people-first culture, embracing a flexible work model and focusing on well-being.
