In this role, you will: - Collaborate with a team of skilled and motivated developers. - Engage with stakeholders to grasp business requirements and transform them into technical solutions. - Develop and implement scalable, efficient code following industry best practices. - Take ownership of your code throughout all stages of the software development lifecycle, encompassing ideation, design, development, quality assurance, and customer support. - Develop a comprehensive understanding of features spanning various components. - Adhere to the agile engineering practices and processes adopted by the team. - Produce and maintain detailed technical documentation and design specifications. - Mentor junior developers and offer guidance on best practices and technical strategies. Desired Qualifications: - An engineering graduate with a minimum of 9 years of overall software development experience. - Proficiency in web-based cloud applications utilizing the JavaScript technology stack (JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJs, React, Angular, etc.). - Extensive experience in all facets of software development such as design, architecture, and object-oriented programming. - Strong analytical skills to assess complex problems and propose effective solutions. - Willingness to continuously learn new technologies and business processes. - Experience in cloud development processes and microservices architecture. - Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a background in working with diverse teams across multiple time zones. - Hands-on experience in Automation testing with tools like Mocha, Cypress automation, or equivalent. - Proficiency in SAP UI5, SQL, RDBSM, or HANA would be advantageous. - Involvement in organizational initiatives such as hiring, representing the team in internal and external forums, and mentoring others. - Knowledge of Apache Spark and Python is a plus. Join the Business Data Cloud (BDC) team, which offers customers a unified data management layer providing access to all application data through curated data products. The BDC organization delivers a Business Data Fabric and Insight Applications that include data warehousing, cross-analytical capabilities, planning, and benchmarking tools to derive actionable insights within customers" business processes. This cloud service is designed for ease of use and open for customer and partner extensions across all enterprise lines of business.
