Job Description

Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain applications using AS400 technologies including RPG/RPGLE and ILE.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Perform job scheduling and performance tuning to optimize application efficiency.
Utilize DB2/400 and SQL for database management and queries.
Implement service programs and modules as per project requirements.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.

Skills Required:

Strong hands-on experience with AS400/iSeries platform, including development and support.
Proficient in RPG, RPGLE, ILE, CLLE, and DDS for developing and maintaining AS400-based applications.
Good understanding of modular programming using service programs, modules, and procedures.
Proficiency in SQLRPGLE and DB2/400 for writing and optimizing complex queries and managing relational databases.
Experience in job scheduling, batch processing, and performance optimization on the AS400 system.
Familiarity with debugging tools and error-handling techniques on the iSeries platform.
Ability to work on enhancements, production support, and migration projects independently or in a team.
