Senior Designer - HVAC

Role Overview: As a Principal Designer - HVAC at Petrofac, you will play a crucial role in supporting the energy industry's transition to alternative energy sources. Your expertise in 3D modelling and HVAC system design will be essential in spearheading projects for our diverse client portfolio. With a minimum of 15 years of experience in onshore and offshore HVAC design, you will contribute to the development of detailed designs and collaborate with various engineering disciplines to ensure the successful execution of projects. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize 3D modelling skills and experience with the latest tools, such as E3D and PDMS platform, in the HVAC domain. - Develop detailed HVAC system designs, including heating & cooling load calculations, P&IDs, D&IDs, and ducting piping layouts. - Provide inputs for platform layouts, issue engineering drawings for Inter-Discipline Checks (IDCs), and coordinate with other disciplines for data integration. - Supervise the preparation of technical inquiry requests to vendors, participate in bid evaluations, review vendor documents, and ensure equipment specifications meet client requirements and budget constraints.
