Senior Designer - Formals (Menswear)

As a Fashion Designer at Turtle Clothing Company, your role involves liaising closely with sales, buying, and production teams to ensure that the items suit the customer, market, and price points. You will be responsible for checking patterns that are cut and sewn into sample garments and mass production. Your key responsibilities include establishing a best-in-class design and merchandising process across the formal wear category, selecting fabric, trims, styles, and accessories for development samples, and considering technical guidelines for better feasibility of products in bulk production. Additionally, you will be creating and visualizing design ideas by hand sketch or using computer-based software, collaborating with the design team, product development, and forecasters to develop products, and keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends in formal wear and general trends related to fabrics and colors.
