Roles and responsibilities Responsible for BIM & CAD DESIGNtasks as directed by the Engineer. Undertaking structural modelling and detailing on global projects using REVIT & AutoCAD. Develop Bridge models in Revit (from scratch). Prepare Bridge drawings in AutoCAD. Review and monitor the production of drawings to maintain quality and accuracy. Creation and editing of drawings & sketches in compliancewith AECOM Standards. Develop RC intent drawings. Prepare and modify 3D BIM models for development of federated models. Maintaining regular communication with client/lead region/project lead for understand the clients requirements for qualitative and timely delivery. Liaising with the team manager/(s) to keep informed of all developments associated with the project. Providing guidance to the project team, leading a qualitative and client-focused culture. Works under limited supervision. Provides training and technical support to design staff on the Building Information Modeling system, which provides 3D models using project specifications and content. Direct project support and production to assigned projects and create the drawings as required using the standards and content to meet the job requirements (objects within the drawing, doors, lights, etc.). Qualifications Diploma (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college, institute or university. 6 to10 years relevant experience in Structural Engineering modelling and detailing. Proven experience & sound knowledge in bridges. Proven experience in 3D modelling using tools like Revit Structures & AutoCAD. Ability to create custom families and templates to enhance BIM workflows. Must be experienced in ProjectWise, BIM 360/ACC. Strong understanding on structural engineering is mandatory. Must be proactive and should maintain professionalism. Understanding of construction phasing and sequencing for complex projects. Proficient in written and verbal communication in English language and good command of technical English terminology. Experienced in working towards tight deadlines focusing on the quality of product. Must be self-motivated and able toworkindependently with minimum supervision. Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices, including ISO 19650 or COBie.
