As a Lead Database Administrator at the company, your main responsibilities will include: - Administration of PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and any other databases throughout the development and production lifecycles in the Waltz environment - Design and develop logical and physical database designs based on customer requirements - Collaborate with the development team to provide best practice guidance - Participate in creating, modifying, and implementing database standards and procedures - Create documentation of the database environment - Collaborate with other DBAs and infrastructure team members to develop database deployment pipelines Your accountability will involve: - Ensuring best design and documentation practices - Maintaining clear and concise communication with the team - Adhering to Waltz processes - Having a security-first mindset As an Application/Infrastructure Architect, your responsibilities will include: - Understanding and designing applications using appropriate, relevant, cost-effective technologies - Keeping up to date with relevant technologies for better application design - Ensuring clear communication of designs to all teams - Partnering with onshore Infra architect, Application architect, database architect, and product owners - Thoroughly documenting designs Your accountability will involve: - Ensuring best design and documentation practices - Maintaining clear and concise communication with the team - Adhering to Waltz processes - Having a security-first mindset Experience in Elastic is required for both roles.
