Senior DBA and Techology Lead

Key Responsibilities: - Perform all database administration tasks and be well-versed with database features, utilities, and recovery procedures. - Act as a subject matter expert for database products, ensuring installations and configurations meet application requirements. - Collaborate with application teams to tune SQL for minimal resource consumption and optimal throughput. - Participate in continuous process improvement throughout the SDLC by creating scripts and procedures to enhance delivery speed. - Review capacity and predictive reports to efficiently allocate system resources. - Possess knowledge of AWS/Cloud technologies to contribute to the cloud journey. - Participate in on-call duties and provide senior-level expertise in resolving database issues. - Communicate with vendors and collaborate with Broadridge support groups to address database issues effectively. - Take proactive measures, demonstrating a high sense of ownership and accountability. Qualifications Required: - Prior experience as a Sybase Database Administrator. - Strong understanding of database features, utilities, and recovery procedures. - Knowledge of AWS/Cloud technologies. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical issues clearly.
