Senior Data Scientist

The job of a Data Scientist at our organization involves working at the intersection of data, business, and technology to extract actionable insights from structured and unstructured data. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing predictive models and contributing to strategic decision-making through advanced analytics and machine learning. Your role will include partnering with cross-functional teams to create scalable models that enhance customer experiences and support the company's Digital First Approach. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct end-to-end data science projects, understanding business needs and delivering ML solutions. - Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and outliers in large datasets. - Engineer features from raw data to enhance model performance. - Develop and validate predictive models using supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms. - Apply advanced statistical techniques and machine learning methods to solve various problems. - Collaborate with data engineers and software developers to deploy models using tools like Spring Boot and GitLab. - Evaluate model performance over time, recommend improvements, and communicate insights to stakeholders. - Stay updated with advancements in ML/AI tools, libraries, and techniques. Technical Skills & Tools: - Languages: Python, R - ML Platforms & IDEs: Azure ML Studio, Jupyter Notebook, RStudio - Visualization: Tableau, Power BI, Google Analytics - Database Knowledge: SQL, NoSQL - Deployment & Integration: Java APIs, Spring Boot, GitLab - Statistical Analysis: Hypothesis testing, A/B testing, regression, classification, clustering Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field. - Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role. - Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data manipulation libraries. - Experience with machine learning frameworks. - Familiarity with data visualization tools. - Strong understanding of statistics, probability, and mathematical modeling. - Ability to convey complex technical results clearly. - Nice to have: Experience in telecom domain, exposure to big data tools, knowledge of CI/CD practices in data science.
