About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Translate business requirements into effective data models.
Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity across multiple systems.
Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and engineers to design scalable data solutions.
Optimize data storage and retrieval to support analytics and reporting.
Maintain documentation of models, metadata, and design standards.
Support data governance and quality initiatives.
Provide recommendations for database design, performance improvement, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Data Modeler or in a similar data architecture role.
Strong understanding of conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
Expertise in data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, PowerDesigner, or similar).
Solid understanding of database technologies (RDBMS, NoSQL, cloud databases).
Proficiency in SQL and database design principles.
Knowledge of data governance, master data management, and metadata management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Familiarity with data warehousing, BI tools, and ETL processes.
Exposure to big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
