Senior Data Manager

Role Overview: As a Senior Data Manager at Swiss Re, you will work closely with internal business partners globally to analyze their processes and requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications for the development team. You will lead a small team, own and handle incidents, problems, and change requests for data assets, and support software releases. Collaboration with various partners to define new processes, develop data models, and drive information governance frameworks will be a key aspect of your role. Communication and collaboration with data owners/leaders, enterprise architects, and other application owners are vital to ensure MDM conversations/topics are integrated into Swiss Re's technology and data landscape. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze business processes and requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications - Lead a small team to deliver projects in areas such as process improvement, data model development, and information governance - Own and handle incidents, problems, and change requests for data assets - Support software releases, including communication with clients and coordinating user testing and training - Collaborate with various partners to define new processes, drive information governance frameworks, and improve data quality - Communicate and collaborate with data owners/leaders, enterprise architects, and other application owners Qualifications Required: - Master's or bachelor's degree in information management, computer science, or business administration - Over 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst and solution design, preferably in a data function - Strong analytical skills with the ability to consider multiple dimensions and perspectives for optimal solutions - Proficient in data analysis, data profiling, and data modeling - Working experience with UI/UX design, data integration, and Web Services (REST/SOAP) - Knowledge of TIBCO Orchestra EBX MDM is advantageous Note: Additional details about Swiss Re have been omitted from the final JD.,
