Senior Data & Insights Analyst

As an Analyst at Curriculum Associates, you will be responsible for analyzing business and operational data to provide valuable insights for decision-making. Your key responsibilities will include: - Analyzing business and operational data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and root causes. - Translating data outputs into clear insights and recommendations tailored to business needs. - Collaborating with stakeholders to provide deep-dive analysis on priority questions and KPIs. - Partnering with BI developers to ensure accurate and easy-to-consume analytics outputs. - Supporting performance monitoring and KPI analysis for key business initiatives. - Driving problem-solving through structured data exploration and storytelling. - Contributing to an enterprise-wide insights knowledge base and reusable analysis templates. - Mentoring junior analysts and cross-functional partners when needed. To excel in this role, you should possess the following job skills: - Solid understanding of statistical techniques, hypothesis testing, and causal analysis. - Business acumen to connect data insights with operational or strategic context. - Ability to simplify complex data into simple narratives and decision-support outputs. - Proficiency in analyzing large datasets using SQL, Excel, and scripting tools. - Experience with BI/reporting tools like Power BI and working within Agile teams. The minimum qualifications required for this position are: - Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business analytics, or data science roles. - 3+ years of hands-on experience with data warehouses, cloud platforms, or enterprise data environments. - Demonstrated experience in supporting cross-functional teams with insight-led decision-making. - Exposure to data governance, data quality, or metadata management concepts is a plus. - Certifications in data analysis, statistics, or business analytics are also a plus.
