Role Overview: You will be joining EY as a Senior Consultant specializing in the end-to-end implementation of Data Governance tools such as Microsoft Purview, Collibra, or Informatica Data Governance tools. Your main responsibility will be to manage the technical aspects of implementing solutions to support data governance and data management initiatives. It is essential to have a deep understanding of data catalog, metadata, data lineage, and data governance processes, along with hands-on experience with data governance tools. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in implementing data governance tools like Microsoft Purview, Collibra, and other relevant technologies to ensure alignment with business requirements. - Collaborate with data governance teams and IT to integrate data governance tools with existing data management systems and processes. - Conduct metadata management, data lineage tracking, and data cataloging activities to improve data visibility and governance. - Support the development and maintenance of data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures with stakeholders. - Create and update documentation related to system configurations, processes, and user guides for implemented tools. - Provide training and support to end-users and technical staff on the effective use of data governance tools. - Engage in current state assessments to assess data quality, data management practices, and governance principles within client environments. - Assist in business development efforts, including proposal support and client presentations. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience with data governance tools such as Microsoft Purview, Collibra, or similar technologies. - Strong understanding of data management and governance principles, including metadata management and data lineage. - Ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to meet complex business requirements. - Experience in preparing training materials and conducting user education sessions. - Familiarity with data governance frameworks such as DAMA, CMMI, or NDMO.
