Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our organization. The successful candidate will demonstrate deep technical expertise in  Snowflake, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the capability to manage client interactions with professionalism and clarity. This role requires a proactive individual who can deliver robust data solutions, collaborate effectively across teams, and adapt to evolving technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, scalable data pipelines and solutions using
  Snowflake.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and
  translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Provide expert technical recommendations and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Optimize database queries for enhanced performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Ensure effective client communication, issue management, and timely delivery of project
  outcomes.
• Demonstrate flexibility in working across various technologies and platforms as required.
• Stay abreast of emerging data technologies and incorporate best practices into ongoing
  work.
• Provide production support, including availability during weekends for critical issue
  resolution.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous process improvement within the data engineering team.
  

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven expertise in Snowflake data warehousing and development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including query design, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Azure services such as Storage Accounts, WebJobs, Logic Apps, and
  Functions are advantageous.
• Experience with Matillion or similar data integration tools preferred.
• Programming proficiency in C# or Python is an added advantage.
• Excellent client-handling, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
  manage expectations professionally.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
