Job Description

Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer (Individual Contributor) to strengthen our Data Team. You will work closely with Data Engineering, Platform, and Business teams to design, build, and maintain a scalable data platform on AWS, supporting analytics and reporting needs.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain data warehouse schemas in ClickHouse and Amazon Redshift
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Pentaho and Airflow
Build and support batch and streaming pipelines using Kafka
Deliver end-to-end data solutions from source systems to analytical layers
Implement data quality, audit, and reconciliation checks
Collaborate with Platform teams to ensure data is optimized for downstream consumption
Optimize databases, queries, and pipelines for performance and low latency
Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

Skills & Experience

3 to 5 years of experience in data engineering or data warehousing
Strong Python skills (preferred) for data processing and automation
Hands-on experience with ClickHouse, Amazon Redshift, Pentaho, Airflow, and Kafka
Solid understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data modeling
Experience working on AWS-based data platforms
Exposure to MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases
Online Gaming or e-commerce experience is a plus
Pragmatic, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver
