As a Senior Data Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for leading the design, build, and evolution of our inhouse data platforms. You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business application development teams to deliver effective data solutions. Here is what you will be doing in this role: **Role Overview:** You will be leading the construction of datasets requested by stakeholders, building and maintaining data pipelines, and collaborating with various teams to deliver data solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyze raw data to generate BI and Advanced Analytics datasets based on stakeholders' requirements - Design data pipelines to curate sourced data into the inhouse data warehouse - Create data marts for dataset consumption by business and IT internal stakeholders - Define migration execution activities to move data to the inhouse data warehouse - Regular housekeeping of raw data and data stored in the data warehouse - Build and maintain data pipelines and platforms - Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability - Develop analytical tooling to support BI and Advanced Data Analytics activities - Execute data migration from existing databases to the inhouse data warehouse - Promote data engineering standards and best-in-class methodology **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related quantitative discipline from a top-tier university - Certified in AWS Data Engineer Specialty or AWS Solution Architect Associate - Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification mandatory with 5+ years of hands-on experience in snowflake projects - 7+ years of experience in data engineering or a relevant role, preferably in the financial industry - Strong understanding of Agile Frameworks such as Kanban, SAFe, SCRUM, etc. - Proficiency in ETL, data warehouse, BI(Qlik), and Advanced Data Analytics concepts - Deep knowledge of cloud-enabled technologies such as AWS RDS and AWS Fargate - Experience with databases and data warehouses like Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MS SQL - Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python - Practical experience with ETL tools like AWS Glue - Strong critical-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Excellent communicator with a team-oriented approach In summary, as a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and maintaining our inhouse data platforms, working with various teams to deliver effective data solutions, and ensuring data quality and reliability across the organization.
