Your Impact

The role involves setting up, managing, and troubleshooting Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) implementations, ensuring accurate data tracking, reporting, and compliance for client websites and applications. As a Sr. Manager-Data Engineering, you will join a client service team and take ownership of a workstream to solve some of

the toughest challenges our clients face.

Responsibilities:

• GA4 & GTM Setup & Management:

  Configure and maintain Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) across client websites and applications.

• Event & Conversion Tracking:

  Implement custom event tracking, conversion tracking, and enhanced eCommerce tracking using GTM.

• Tag Implementation & Debugging:

  Deploy and troubleshoot tags, triggers, and variables in GTM to ensure seamless data flow.

• Data Layer Implementation:

  Work with developers to set up and manage data layers for advanced tracking requirements.

• Cross-Domain & UTM Tracking:

  Configure cross-domain tracking, campaign URL tagging, and ensure accurate attribution.

• Reporting & Insights:

  Work closely with analysts and marketing teams to ensure data integrity and provide actionable insights.

• Privacy & Compliance:

  Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations in tracking implementations.

• Troubleshooting & Audits:

  Conduct regular audits of GA4 and GTM implementations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

Your Qualifications and Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in GA4 and GTM implementation.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for debugging and troubleshooting tracking issues.
• Experience with Google BigQuery, Looker Studio, and other reporting tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with marketing platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, and other third-party tracking tools.
• Ability to work with developers to set up custom tracking and data layers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
