Senior Data Engineer

We are looking a Senior Data Engineer with extensive experience in designing and building scalable data pipelines, integrating AI/LLM models, and developing automation solutions using Python. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in ETL workflows, deep proficiency with cloud platforms, and a proven track record of implementing robust data governance and security practices.

Role & responsibilities

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive full-lifecycle data engineering experience within enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in ETL development, API integrations, data processing workflows, and implementation of GenAI-powered solutions
• Deep expertise in ETL pipeline development, orchestration tools and troubleshooting.
• Advanced proficiency with Snowflake, including data modeling, security, optimization, and role-based access control.
• Strong grounding in data governance, cataloging, lineage, access management, and regulatory compliance best practices.
• Proven experience designing and implementing data security architectures (encryption, tokenization, masking, monitoring).
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred).
• Familiarity with distributed systems, cloud-native data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and scalable storage technologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience mentoring or leading teams is a plus.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proficient in Python for data processing and automation.
• Strong experience with Cloud Services and GenAI is Plus
• Expertise in PostgreSQL, including query optimization and schema design.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL concepts.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Knowledge of data security, governance, and regulatory compliance best practices.
