Senior Data Developer

As a Senior Data Developer I at our Gurugram office, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and secure data pipelines to support critical business processes across clinical, regulatory, and commercial domains in the Life Sciences industry. Your expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and strong SQL development skills will be instrumental in creating end-to-end data solutions. Your responsibilities will include developing curated datasets for analytics, creating dashboards and reports using Power BI, collaborating with stakeholders to understand data needs, integrating and transforming data from ERP systems such as Salesforce.com and SAP S/4HANA, and enabling advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives. Additionally, you will ensure data quality, lineage, and documentation in compliance with industry standards and best practices. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science with at least 5 years of experience in data development or data engineering. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, SQL, and Azure DevOps is essential. Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance in the Life Sciences domain is a must. Preferred qualifications include certifications such as Microsoft Certified: DP-700 Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate and Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate or Professional. Strong knowledge of Power BI, familiarity with compliance standards like HIPAA, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11, exposure to ERP data, clinical trial data, and AI/ML concepts are advantageous. Your role will involve working in a hybrid mode and collaborating with global teams.
