The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your main objective will be to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Data Architect for a Settlements application. In this role, you will be crucial in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-quality software solutions while upholding best-in-class engineering standards, which include AI-driven tools, test automation, security, and modernized ways of working. Deep expertise in system architecture and strong problem-solving skills are essential to create resilient, high-performing, and secure applications. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance applications. You will also be responsible for ensuring high levels of test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD), as well as improving data quality through the use of tools like GenAI, Python, etc. As a leader in engineering excellence and best practices, you will drive the adoption of modern engineering ways of working, such as Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD. You will advocate for automated testing, infrastructure as code, and continuous monitoring to enhance software reliability. Additionally, you will apply Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and unit testing to ensure code quality and functionality. Code reviews will be conducted thoroughly to ensure adherence to best practices in readability, performance, and security. Secure coding practices will be implemented and enforced, including vulnerability assessments and compliance with security standards. Collaboration in agile environments, embracing DevOps principles, and fostering a culture of continuous delivery and improvement are key aspects of this role. In terms of technical leadership and collaboration, you will partner with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to design scalable and distributed systems. Mentoring junior engineers and promoting a culture of engineering excellence and continuous learning are also part of your responsibilities. You will collaborate closely with DevOps teams to optimize deployments, observability, and production resilience. Leading technical discussions, contributing to design documentation, and providing guidance on modern software architectures are crucial aspects of this role.
