Senior Control Management Specialist-Data Science

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Control Management Specialist

In this role, you will:

• Participate in identifying, assessing, managing, and mitigating current and emerging risk exposures within Control Management functional area
• Provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, business processes, and business controls
• Monitor moderately complex business specific programs and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies
• Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area
• Provide guidance to business groups on the development, implementation, and monitoring of business specific programs to identify, assess, and mitigate risk
• Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in data analytics, bigdata,
• identifying the data gap upstream trading application
• Analyze large volumes of trade order data to identify behaviour patterns anomalies and potential risks
• Design nd implement advanced analytical models to enhance alert logic and improve detection accuracy
• Identify the opportunities to streamline alert generation fisposition tracking and case management process

• Perform periodic tuning and calibration of existing surveillance scenarios to improve quality and reduce false positive Maintian data integrity and ensure compliance with internal governance and regulatory standards

• Strong hands n experience in SQL, Python, Power BI /Tableau a for large scale data analysis

• Experience in model validation scenario calibration and tuning of surveillance system

• Understanding of financial products will be added advantage

Job Expectations:

• Work on large data sets from trading systems, order management systems and market data feeds .
• Perform data quality checks to ensure integrity and accuracy if input in fir surveillance models.
• Track data issues from upstream system through JIRA and help them to get it.
• Partner with technology teams to implement model enhancements and monitor post implementation performance.
