Senior Consultant - US Accounting (R365) - Advisory

As a Senior Consultant in the Withum India office, you will collaborate with a team of US and India-based accounting professionals, reporting to Accounting Managers and working on various accounting engagements. Key Responsibilities: - Enter and process client accounting transactions in the appropriate accounting software regularly and promptly. - Monitor the portal for assigned clients to ensure timely processing of all transactions. - Perform compilation procedures following firm and professional standards as directed by engagement leaders. - Develop technical competency with GAAP and various accounting software systems for Accounting Outsourcing Services. - Respond to client and firm associate requests accurately and professionally. - Communicate proactively with other firm associates regarding open items, problems, or important matters promptly. - Adhere to prescribed budgets and deadlines. Qualifications Required: - Commerce Graduate/Postgraduate - 2-6 years of experience in U.S. accounting - Focus on technology skills in addition to accounting skills - Good exposure to Excel, including formatting and creating worksheets for imports and exports - Experience working on Word and Outlook with features beyond basic usage - Knowledge of Fathom Reports or Live Plan - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite - Any experience with agriculture accounting would be beneficial - Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively - Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines - Independent worker with flexibility in scheduling to meet workflow demands - Present a professional appearance and demeanor - Maintain client confidentiality, personal objectivity, and professional skepticism For more information about Withum, visit their website at www.withum.com.,
