Role Overview: As a Specialist I, Quality Assurance Engineer at EY, you will be responsible for providing intermediate level systems quality assurance testing services and implementing new techniques and tools to enhance software development quality and efficiency. Your role will involve executing usability, regression, and stress tests, preparing test reports, and contributing feedback during design reviews to ensure application performance and user experience meet defined standards. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in the implementation and maintenance of test automation strategies, conducting test design and coding reviews to ensure quality. - Translate functional requirements and technical specifications into test scripts for new development or enhancement projects. - Follow up on the quality assurance testing process to ensure that all information system products and services meet company standards and end-user requirements. - Analyze input and output of test data, identify discrepancies, document exceptions, and make recommendations for improvement. - Develop and document quality assurance standards, recognizing areas for policy and procedure changes. - Collaborate with IT teams to execute manual End-to-End test cases and exploratory tests, following test case standards. - Conduct usability tests to evaluate user experience and application performance, ensuring software meets accessibility and design standards. - Perform regression testing and stress testing to verify application stability and responsiveness under various load conditions. - Prepare comprehensive test reports documenting outcomes, bugs, usability concerns, and recommendations to the development and design teams. Qualification Required: - Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, specializing in automation and manual testing. - Bachelors degree in relevant fields such as Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering, or a Masters degree/Diploma in Computer Science. - Proficiency in Agile, Confluence, JIRA, Monitoring and refining dashboards, and Continuous process improvement for process flows/workflows. - Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner). - Experience in using JIRA, HP ALM, or TestRail for bug tracking and working in Agile/Scrum environments with CI/CD integration.
