Senior Consultant - Tech Consulting - FS - CNS - TC - Senior Liferay Developer - Mumbai

Role Overview: You are an experienced Senior Liferay Developer with expertise in Liferay DXP 7.4 development and implementation. Your responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise portal solutions, collaborating with business and technical stakeholders, and working in a client-facing environment. You are expected to be self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering high-quality solutions in an Agile setup. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications using Liferay DXP 7.4. - Upgrade and enhance existing modules, hooks, and extensions to Liferay 7.4. - Customize out-of-the-box (OOB) portlets such as Documents & Media, Journal Article, Users & Orgs, Knowledge Base. - Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into scalable technical solutions. - Implement customizations, extensions, and integrations on the Liferay platform. - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices. - Conduct code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure quality and performance. - Integrate Liferay DXP with enterprise systems and applications. - Deliver within Agile/DevOps environments with high-quality standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Hands-on expertise in Liferay 7.4 portal development and end-to-end implementation. - Strong knowledge of MVC frameworks and Liferay extension environments (plugins, wrappers, core EXT). - In-depth understanding of Liferay CMS, structures, templates, and permission frameworks. - Experience with REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML web services. - Strong database skills with SQL (SQL Server preferred). - Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, React. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication skills and ability to work in a client-facing environment. - Flexibility to collaborate with AMS stakeholders across time zones.
