Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain IBM OpenPages (v8.1/8.2), including workflows, triggers, task views, JSP Helpers, and core objects and data models.
• Collaborate with project teams, IT Application Support, end-users, and IBM Solution Architects to enhance the Model Risk Inventory system.
• Translate business requirements from User Stories, Use Cases, and Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) into technical solutions.
• Partner with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and Platform Architects to identify and implement necessary changes and features.
• Analyze complex problems and provide logical, innovative, and scalable technical solutions.
• Optimize automation within the design, development, and operational life cycles to reduce manual intervention, including making decisions on appropriate tools and practices.
• Work closely with the Agile Lead to ensure the efficient flow of backlog items and change activities.
• Contribute to system stability and performance through proactive configuration and continuous improvement.

Experience Requirements

• 8-12 years of hands-on experience with IBM OpenPages, including system configuration, workflow development, triggers, and custom development (JSP Helpers, etc.).
• Advanced programming skills in Java/J2EE.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle databases and WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
• Experience working in Agile delivery frameworks.
• Solid understanding of technical architecture and the ability to drive the creation of robust technical design solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across teams and with stakeholders.
• Experience developing task-focused UIs in OpenPages.
• Domain knowledge in Model Risk Governance (MRG).
• Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Familiarity with batch jobs and shell scripting.
