Senior Consultant | SAP MDG

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design & Implementation:

  Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of

  SAP MDG

  solutions for clients, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.

• Master Data Governance:

  Implement and maintain effective

  Master Data Management

  strategies for key business areas (e.g.,

  Material Master

  ,

  Vendor Master

  ,

  Customer Master

  ) within SAP MDG, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance across the enterprise.

• Data Modeling & Workflow:

  Develop and configure

  data models

  ,

  data quality rules

  , and

  workflows

  for MDG to ensure efficient data governance and end-to-end data lifecycle management.

• Integration:

  Manage integration of

  SAP MDG

  with other SAP modules (e.g.,

  SAP S/4HANA

  ,

  SAP ERP

  ) and non-SAP systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and consistency across systems.

• Data Migration:

  Support data migration activities by designing, developing, and executing migration plans for moving master data from legacy systems to SAP MDG.

• Business Process Optimization:

  Work closely with business users to understand data requirements and enhance master data processes to meet evolving business needs.

• Testing & Documentation:

  Perform system testing (unit, integration, and UAT) to ensure the solution meets business requirements. Document configurations, processes, and best practices for client use.

• Training & Knowledge Transfer:

  Provide end-user training and support to ensure smooth adoption of SAP MDG solutions. Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for internal and client teams.

• Change Management:

  Help clients navigate change management challenges associated with implementing SAP MDG, ensuring adoption of best practices in master data governance.

• Continuous Improvement:

  Stay updated with the latest SAP MDG trends, tools, and technologies. Propose improvements and optimizations for current data governance solutions.

• Project Leadership:

  Guide and mentor junior consultants, and manage client relationships to ensure project success. Oversee the delivery of high-quality solutions within scope, schedule, and budget.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree

  in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 5+ years

  of experience in

  SAP MDG

  implementation and support, with a deep understanding of master data governance concepts and practices.
• Strong experience with

  SAP MDG modules

  , including

  Material Master

  ,

  Customer Master

  , and

  Vendor Master

  management.
• Familiarity with

  SAP S/4HANA

  and its integration with

  SAP MDG

  .
• Experience in

  data modeling

  ,

  data governance

  , and

  workflow configuration

  within the SAP ecosystem.
• Knowledge of

  SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance)

  and its integration with SAP MDG is a plus.
• Strong understanding of data migration processes and tools for SAP MDG.

• SAP MDG Certification

  is preferred but not mandatory.
