Essential Skills

Technical Skills:

US & Canadian Payroll Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of payroll processing, tax regulations, benefits administration, and compliance for both the US and Canada.
Payroll Systems:
Experience with payroll software such as ADP, Paychex, Ceridian, SAP Payroll, and Workday.
Data Management:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel for payroll data analysis, reporting, and automation.
Taxation & Compliance:
Understanding of federal, state, and provincial tax regulations, deductions, and filings.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:

Strong problem-solving abilities for payroll discrepancies, tax issues, and employee inquiries.
Ability to analyze complex payroll data and provide accurate solutions.

Project Management & Process Improvement:

Capability to manage multiple payroll cycles under tight deadlines.
Experience in process optimization to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.

Soft Skills:

Attention to Detail:
Ensuring precision in payroll calculations and compliance with policies.
Confidentiality:
Handling sensitive employee data with integrity and discretion.
