Job Description

Job Description: You will be designing, developing, and maintaining scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud. Collaboration with product, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams will be crucial to evolve and optimize the microservices ecosystem. You will also be responsible for developing integration strategies using RESTful APIs, MQ/Kafka, and external third-party services. Ensuring quality and consistency through implementing CI/CD pipelines, writing automated tests, and participating in code reviews will be part of your tasks. Troubleshooting and resolving issues across development, test, and production environments will be essential. Additionally, documenting technical designs, architectural decisions, and best practices for microservices and mentoring junior engineers will be expected from you. Providing 2nd Line support during production deployments and post-release cycles will also be a part of your responsibilities. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline. - 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development. - Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Data. - Solid understanding of RESTful web services, JSON/XML, Swagger, and Postman. - Practical experience with microservices architecture and deployment to cloud environments (OpenShift, Azure, AWS). - Proficiency in containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. - Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. - Experience with Message-oriented Middleware (MQ, Kafka) and Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP). - Strong problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills. Good-to-Have: - Familiarity with DevOps practices, GitOps workflows, and CI/CD toolchains (e.g., Jenkins, ArgoCD). - Exposure to observability frameworks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK). - Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.,
