Senior Consultant - Dermatologist

As a Senior Consultant - Dermatologist at Apollo Clinics in Electronic City Phase 2, Bengaluru, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating various skin conditions. Your responsibilities will include conducting consultations, performing dermatological procedures, and developing personalized care plans for patients. Additionally, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals, maintain patient records, and stay updated with the latest dermatology practices and technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Assess patients" skin, hair, and nail conditions, considering their medical history. - Diagnose skin conditions, create treatment plans, and prescribe medications or therapies. - Perform minor surgical procedures such as biopsies and excisions. - Educate patients on skin health, treatments, and preventive care. - Monitor patients" progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document outcomes. - Refer patients to other specialists when required. - Provide cosmetic procedures like laser hair removal, Botox injections, or fillers. Qualifications Required: - Extensive experience in diagnosing and treating dermatological conditions. - Proficiency in performing dermatological procedures and treatments. - Excellent patient consultation and communication skills. - Strong organizational skills for maintaining detailed patient records. - Ability to stay updated with the latest advancements in dermatology. - MD in Dermatology or equivalent qualification and board certification. - Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
