Senior Cloud Platform Engineer

As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer, your role involves applying your deep platform expertise and experience across multiple cloud platforms and infrastructure, including AWS and Azure. Your primary responsibilities include: - Building and operating platforms across multi-cloud by integrating with IaaS, CaaS, PaaS, and other SaaS providers. - Creating and optimizing automated and abstracted infrastructure for applications from concept and testing into production, while providing operational support for the system environment to enable application developers to focus on their development work. - Developing automation to ensure portability of applications hosted on multi-cloud and optimizing public cloud spend by validating system architecture/design and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising performance and operations requirements. - Right-sizing underlying cloud infrastructure to help reduce cloud spend and implementing automated optimization opportunities for reducing manual steps, improving cloud security, and self-healing platform issues and anomalies using data and analytics from internal and service provider systems. - Innovating the platform to integrate features and services delivered by cloud providers and making them compliant with company standards. - Creating on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure as code design, building highly scalable, resilient platforms, and optimized systems for hybrid and multi-cloud platforms. - Building continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) systems that install, configure, deploy, and monitor cloud platform solutions, ensuring effective integration and automation by leveraging and enhancing open-source libraries and frameworks appropriately.
