Experience:
Minimum 5-8 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, primarily with Microsoft AzureProven experience in managing production-grade cloud infrastructure in enterprise environmentsBackground in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure automation is highly valuedExperience in multi-region deployments, cloud migrations, or hybrid environments is preferred

Cloud PlatformsStrong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including:Management Groups, Subscriptions, Resource GroupsVirtual Networks, Azure App Services, Azure FunctionsAzure Identity and Access Management (IAM), RBACFamiliarity with hybrid cloud and on-prem integrationsInfrastructure as Code (IaC)Proficiency in ARM Templates, Terraform, Bicep, or similar IaC toolsAutomation scripting using PowerShell, YAML, or CLI toolsKubernetes & ContainerizationHands-on experience with AKS and DockerExperience managing containerized applications and deployments in cloud environmentsCloud Cost OptimizationWorking knowledge of cost management and optimization techniques in AzureFamiliarity with cost analysis tools and strategies to control resource spendCI/CD Pipelines:Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOpsIntegration of infrastructure deployment into application pipelinesMonitoring & Logging:Hands-on with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application InsightsSetting up dashboards, alerts, and incident response processesVersion Control & Code Management:Working knowledge of Git, Azure Repos, and branching/merge strategiesSecurity & Compliance:Implementing security policies, Azure Blueprints, role-based access control (RBAC), and encryption standards
Desirable Experience
Experience with Azure Arc, Azure Policy, and security compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO, SOC, HIPAA)Familiarity with other cloud providers (e.g., AWS, GCP)Experience with legacy application modernization and cloud migration strategiesCreating re-usable templates and modules for cloud resourcesExperience working with YAML-based release definitions
