Description
As a Senior Clinical Programmer at Syneos Health, your role involves developing programs and providing statistical programming support for statisticians or for client/business use. Your responsibilities include sourcing, organizing, and interpreting complex data sets using various tools such as Medidata, Rave, Oracle OC/RDC, Oracle Inform, and SAS. You will design, write, validate, and maintain software to meet specifications, generate and maintain documentation, and lead development activities on clinical programming projects. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize primary development tools like Medidata, Rave, Oracle OC/RDC, Oracle Inform, and SAS to design, write, validate, and maintain software - Generate and maintain required documentation for annotated Case Report Forms, database creation, coding configuration, and more - Serve on project teams to coordinate and lead development activities, attend meetings, provide constructive feedback, and keep project management informed - Provide technology support to clinical programming staff, Project Analysts, and Data Managers - Ensure high-quality deliverables by providing senior review of study level/program level/multi-study core deliveries - Review study budgets, monitor scope of work, and manage change orders - Provide leadership, training, guidance, and support to department members based on expertise in specific skill sets - Lead clinical programming activities on multiple concurrent studies, manage project resources, and maintain broad knowledge in clinical programming and data management Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of related education and experience - 5+ years of experience in Data Visualization using Spotfire (Must), PowerBI / Cluepoint - Experience in SAS/Python/SQL - Clinical background experience preferred - Preferred experience in Rave & Veeva - Good to have Spotfire API experience/knowledge - Ability to effectively deal with sponsors and internal customers at all levels - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and programming languages - Ability to travel as necessary (up to 25%) In your role at Syneos Health, you'll be part of a team dedicated to accelerating the delivery of therapies and changing lives.
