Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Guidewire ClaimCenter (CC) Developer with a strong background in developing and customizing Guidewire ClaimCenter for the insurance industry. This role is perfect for a developer with extensive experience in ClaimCenter and client-facing environments. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of hands-on Guidewire development experience, with expertise in configuring and extending ClaimCenter to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and configure Guidewire ClaimCenter (CC) to handle all aspects of claims management, including claims intake, investigation, payments, and settlement.
  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and configure ClaimCenter to meet business and technical needs.
  • Customize and extend the ClaimCenter module to integrate with other Guidewire products (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter) and third-party systems.
  • Perform detailed analysis and design of ClaimCenter functionalities, ensuring solutions align with best practices for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Lead the development of claims workflows, including business rules, validations, and integrations with external systems.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues in ClaimCenter applications.
  • Mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with client teams in a client-facing role to discuss requirements, demonstrate progress, and adapt solutions based on evolving needs.
  • Work in Agile environments to deliver solutions in sprints and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Ensure integration of ClaimCenter with other enterprise systems, such as payment platforms, document management systems, and third-party service providers.
  • Stay up-to-date with new Guidewire releases and developments to ensure best practices are followed and leverage new features where possible.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in Guidewire development, with expertise in ClaimCenter (CC).
  • Certification: Ace Certified Guidewire (or equivalent certification).
  • Extensive experience in customizing and configuring Guidewire ClaimCenter, including workflows, rules, integrations, and UI extensions.
  • Strong knowledge of Guidewire platform (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) and integration with external systems.
  • Proficiency in GOSU programming language, Java, XML, and web services (SOAP/REST).
  • Hands-on experience with ClaimCenter-specific modules such as claims administration, payment processing, claims investigation, and claims settlement.
  • Client-facing experience, with the ability to communicate technical solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
