Job Description

Role Overview:

The Senior Centre Manager cum Trainer will lead the overall operations, curriculum development, client coordination, and delivery of skill-oriented training programs in CAD/CAM/CAE domains. The role demands strong technical expertise in SolidWorks, CATIA, CAE/CFD tools, and deep industry experience to design and execute high-quality, industry-relevant courses.

Key Responsibilities:

Training & Content Development

  • Deliver advanced training programs on SolidWorks, CATIA, CAE/CFD, and Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Develop, review, and upgrade customized training modules, assignments, and assessments.
  • Work closely with industry partners and customer organizations to co-create specialized course curricula.
  • Conduct certification exams and ensure quality outcomes.

Centre Management

  • Manage & Assist Center Management in daily operations of the training center.
  • Plan and schedule training batches, trainers, and course delivery timelines.
  • Ensure infrastructure readiness (labs, software licenses, systems, tools).
  • Drive student enrolment, industry outreach, and overall business growth.

Industry Engagement

  • Coordinate with manufacturing companies, OEMs, and engineering partners for:
  • Joint syllabus development
  • Internship support
  • Guest lectures and project-based training
  • Represent the center in events, seminars, and client meetings.

Quality Control & Reporting

  • Monitor training effectiveness and implement continuous improvements.
  • Maintain documentation, performance reports, and audit compliance.
  • Ensure training delivery aligns with global industry standards.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong hands-on expertise in

    SolidWorks, CATIA, and CAE tools

    (FEA/CFD).
  • Deep understanding of

    Manufacturing processes

    , PLM workflows, GD&T, Product Design, and Engineering fundamentals.
  • Prior experience in

    training, mentoring, or academic program development

    .
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
  • Ability to innovate and adapt training methodologies for freshers and working professionals.

Qualifications:

  • B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Automobile Engineering or related fields.
  • Relevant certifications in SolidWorks/CATIA/CAE preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of combined industry + training experience.
