Description
As an Application Engineer at the company based in Bangalore, your role involves engaging with prospective customers to understand their workflow and design challenges. Your responsibilities include: - Engaging with prospective customers to understand their workflow, design challenges, and effectively demonstrate SOLIDWORKS Electrical and PCB solutions. - Working on benchmark activities to showcase the tool's capabilities. - Continuously engaging with Regional Sales Managers and sales engineers to qualify customer requirements. - Proactively visiting existing customers to understand their usage and provide best practices and tips to enhance productivity. - Conducting training sessions for customers on SOLIDWORKS Electrical and PCB solutions, either on-site or online. - Presenting webinars on specialized topics related to SolidWorks Electrical and PCB software for a general audience. - Providing technical assistance and guidance to customers and the team via phone or email when expertise or support is required. - Creating technical blogs and articles to assist customers and for internal marketing purposes. - Becoming a certified Application Engineer by completing required certifications within a specified timeline. - Updating all technical activities planned/completed in VTIGER CRM. - Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending industrial workshops and interacting with customers. - Completing customer engagements/technical activities assigned by OEM Dassault Systems SOLIDWORKS and documenting the same. Key Performance Indicators for your role include: - Quality of product demonstration. - Number of demos against the target. - Demos vs. closure ratio. - Timely delivery of benchmarks. - Quality of blogs, webinars, seminars, and technical content. Your profile should include: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. - 3+ years of experience with Electrical design software such as Eplan, Autocad Electrical, SOLIDWORKS Electrical, E3 Series, PC Schematic, etc. - Knowledge of electro-mechanical system design and integration. - Experience in handling critical projects, electrical-mechanical equipment testing, and fault finding. - Understanding of industrial machinery, electrical integration elements, electrical wiring accessories, communication protocols (Ethernet, Modbus, Profibus, drives, controllers, etc.). - Knowledge of Electrical switchgear components and design of applications using various electrical components. - Good communication and presentation skills to confidently demonstrate product capabilities. Your work timing will be Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with the last Saturday of the month being a working day.
