As a Cardiac Technologist in our healthcare facility, your role will involve various responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of procedures and the well-being of our patients. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Patient Care and Preparation:** - Ensuring patients are ready for procedures, including obtaining medical history, explaining the procedure, and preparing the insertion site. - Closely monitoring patients' vital signs (e.g., heart rate, blood pressure) during procedures and noting any changes. - Providing emotional support and explaining procedures to patients and their families. - **Equipment Operation and Maintenance:** - Operating and maintaining specialized equipment like fluoroscopy machines, digital imaging systems, and hemodynamic monitoring equipment. - Maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring the procedure room is properly prepared. - Ensuring the lab is equipped with all necessary supplies and equipment and properly stocking, cleaning, and maintaining lab equipment. - **Assisting During Procedures:** - Supporting cardiologists during procedures by positioning catheters, administering medications, and ensuring sterile conditions. - Using imaging equipment (like fluoroscopy) to help guide catheters to the heart and blood vessels. - Recording procedure details, hemodynamic measurements, and other relevant information. - **Other Responsibilities:** - Operating radiation safety equipment to minimize exposure during procedures. - Assisting in emergency situations, such as heart attacks, by helping with life-saving procedures. - Monitoring patients for complications and providing aftercare instructions. **Qualifications Required:** - BSc Cardiac Technology In addition to your responsibilities, the following details are relevant to your role: - **Experience:** 5+ years - **Job Types:** Full-time, Permanent - **Benefits:** Health insurance, Paid sick time - **Ability to commute/relocate:** Kozhikode, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) - **Education:** Bachelor's (Preferred) - **Experience:** Cathlab: 5 years (Preferred) - **Language:** Malayalam (Required) - **Location:** Kozhikode, Kerala (Preferred) - **Work Location:** In person With your qualifications and experience, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care to our patients and contributing to the success of our healthcare facility.
